The organization

The Municipalities transferred the skill " Collection and waste treatment " to Associations of local authorities, as well as management of waste reception centers. Gathered within the SMITRED West of Armor, these last ones kept the collection of waste and delegated their treatment to the labor union.

As Public intermunicipal cooperation institute (EPCI)((PUBLIC INTERMUNICIPAL COOPERATION INSTITUTE)), the SMITRED West of Armor is managed by elected representatives, indicated by their communities, and governed by the rules of the Territorial Public service.
